Gloves should always be worn to protect your hands from cuts and abrasions. The warm water Caribbean environment will cause your hands to become soft and supple, making you extremely vulnerable to injury. The extended length is long enough to overlap your wetsuit combined with a V-lock elastic retainer to prevents cold water leakage. No abrasive seams to rub on your hands. Provides warm water marine life protection and some thermal insulation on to prevent finger cramps. The top color is stealthy black with a light gray palm for visibility and hand signals.
