The Eagle Z1 Tech is unique because it has been designed to function equally well with BOTH single and twin cylinders. Most "Classic wings" style BCD's work well with heavy steel twins, but are far too large, have extremely high drag, and very poor balance when used with a single cylinder. Most compact low lift "Trek wing" and "Ranger" style BCD's are not wide enough to accept twins, nor tough enough for tech diving activities. These compact BCD's do not offer enough lift for twin cylinder use.
The Tech was created to fill the gap between the "Not enough, and way too much" problem that is typical for existing professional quality BCD's.
